We are a small breeding /boarding/grooming kennel located on 136 wooded acres in lower Michigan. Our passion has been the German Shepherd Dog breed for over 15 years now. The past few years we have also become enchanted with the Cardigan Welsh Corgi breed.

Our Cardigans are from Champion bloodlines and have a proven record in the conformation ring as well as performance. We compete in AKC & UKC with the Cardigans. |

Our GSD's are European imports and bred to the German Shepherd Standard. We breed only from VA and V rated conformation lines to ensure a beautiful correct structure. Our dogs make superior family pets and guardians. |

Our goal with each breed is to produce beauty and brains - to have a versatile dog. At Steppenwolf, we firmly believe that dogs should not only be able to compete in the ring, but also in obedience, agility, herding, etc. We believe in doing all appropriate health checks before breeding. When you purchase a Steppenwolf puppy, be assured that it comes from a very much planned and sought after breeding. We encourage prospective puppy buyers to visit the kennel (appointment only please). For those who live out of state - be assured that we are experienced in safely shipping your puppy to you.
